Advice for Storage/Wall Decor and Lighting in Living Room

I am looking to add some storage in my living room.. especially on the areas beside the tv. Looking for some ideas on what kind of storage can suit, any suggestions on wall decor, art and lighting too...



Disclaimer - Please ignore the current decor or should I say, mess(!).. but the furniture will pretty much be arranged as in the photos.
