yellow and melon are colors often used with teal. generally you decorate then paint to go with your design choices.

Could you post a pic? There are various ways to push this depending on your colour tolerance,the light in the spaces, and your overall style....including 1) a much deeper almond or a lighter teal ( 2) a coordinating wallpaper, 3) the same white as your trim just in a matte & as @havingfun mentioned you could 4) add a third color that could then re-appear in both the dining and living room as a subtle accent.

edit to add: You may find it useful to look at the whole project in some of the Houzz pictorials. You can see how a flowing palette is used throughout a whole house...

I have no idea we need the names of the actual paint you used not some obscure description. IMO almond and teal do not work in my head but I would need to see them.

Tried to post a pic when I originally wrote the question... but houzz wouldn't post it. The only way I could add a pic was to make it my profile pic.
