What Color Table to Go With New Kitchen

Redid my kitchen. Off white cabinets, gray marble quartz counters, light gray backsplash and maple floors.
My husband sanded down my oval wood kitchen set (Canadel BirchWood). Contemplating whether to stain it or paint it and not sure what color/s. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated.
The table goes where the folding table is.

5 years agoThe leaf is out of the table. The stain on the table base and chair backs and legs is deeper than the tabletop and chair seats.
