Greetings all,

I have been searching for an area rug for some time now but i have no idea what i am doing to be honest. The living room is all tile and is open to most of the kitchen area with a large cut out/counter that overhangs some in the room. i am lost in regards to the actual size as well as color/ design of the rug. Please keep in mind the green love seat will be moved out of the room once i find a bed for my dog and i plan to refinish the table with either paint or stain.

I marked some measurements on one of the photos to show how different size rugs would fit. As you can see decorating is not my strong point, any recommendations would be much appreciated.
