I have a large living room but the location of the fireplace is causing me so much trouble. I can not figure out how to decorate or set up my furniture because of it. We moved in 4 years ago but I have been holding off on getting new furniture and decorations because I cant find a layout that works! I would love to be able to look out the window AND see the fireplace but how do I do that with a big TV. both my window an fireplace are off center, near corners, on opposite walls. Forgive the insulation on the fireplace, I have a rambunctious child and I don't want him hitting his head. oh, and the walls are a decoration issue due to the paneling. I painted the paneling because I'm not sure what condition the sheet rock is underneath.
