Introducing gray close to the couch might help. Before buying pillows/throw, you could try an article of clothing in gray to test that theory.

I had the same problem with my bedroom: changed out the beige drapes for grey, and then realized the walls were actually pretty beigey- it looked terrible!! With the beige drapes the walls looked white! From my frustrating experience, adding even more grey won't help the problem, only add to it!! So, for your space, the walls look like they are cream (maybe with a hint of a yellow undertone?). I think some dark blue cushions (like navy) with maybe one accent pillow in a deep coral color might look nice. You could pick up some of those tones in wall art above the couch, too.

Nice couch! I like your space. If it's any consolation, your couch isn't looking muddy on my screen. :) I agree with katie, I wouldn't risk introducing cool-toned greys. Other colours that might work: peachy-pinks, blush, soft yellows and amber, greens, purple, aqua and teal. Love Lil's idea of trying out colours with clothing first. It's a great way to test out colours in a room. I like the idea of a gallery wall but they can be iffy to pull off and get expensive (depending on frames and prints, etc.). Sometimes, it's just easier to fall in love with a big piece of art and be done with it.

You might want to try some of the colors we used in this design below. Perhaps in order to make sure your colors work out use apps first where you can try on the products just by taking a picture of your living room.
