I'm painting my kitchen cabinets white. I have white oak wood planks throughout including the kitchen. there trim is also white. there is a peninsula where the sink is. it's not an island because part of it a
has a wall and upper cabinets. my question is would it be ok to paint the bottom part of the peninsula a different color. the peninsula is the section with the sink. thanks for your help

    by the way. the build does will be replaced with white paneled doors. the wall paper had already been taken down and the room has been painted a light seafoam
