I have 4 kids and about to build a new home. I'm looking for ideas for shared bathroom spaces

A boy's bathroom and a girl's bathroom? A room with two sinks in it leading to a room with a tub/shower and a watercloset? Four bathrooms? One bathroom with four sinks and four toilet stalls? One bathroom with one sink, watercloset, and tub/shower (they will learn and grow the most with this potion)?

I will likely put 2 bathrooms. One jack and Jill and one hall. Jack n Jill will likely be shared by 2-3 boys and hall by 1 boy and 1 girl and guest or just girl and guest. The hall bath will need 2 sinks and the Jack n Jill 2-3 sinks. I need the toilet/shower to private from vanity so they can be used at same time. Trying to make morning bathroom time to run smoothly.

I have some suggestions, but first:

    - Do you have 3 boys and 1 girl?

    - What are their ages?

    - Do you have frequent guests?

    - Do you host holiday gatherings such as Thanksgiving?

We have 4 kids who have suddenly gone from teeny tiny babies to teenagers. We have frequent guests and host all the holidays with 30+ people. So, I have bathroom opinions.

Perhaps this is why families did not used to "outgrow" houses? There was a hall bath, used by both sexes. When they got married and brought home a spouse, they again shared. A Jack and Jill would have been awkward then.

I shared this before in another thread, but I grew up in a house with my parents and three siblings and one bathroom in the house and a "two seater" behind the barn; and I'm normal.

(don't believe what others will try to tell you)

Do you have preliminary plans drawn up by your builder?

What are the ages of each child? The reason I'm asking is I just went through this and the decisions differ depending on the ages of each child. For example, if the girl is the baby the recommendations will be different than if the girl is the oldest, etc, etc.

I do not care for bathrooms with two doors in them and I do not like most "Jack & Jill" bathrooms because they do not provide the privacy for now or in the future.
