Design Dilemma Bathrooms

how to choose a bathroom vanity should it match kitchen?

We have a small house the kitchen has been renovated basic shaker cabinets, white, looks good with honey wood floors and light quartz countertops. Very clean and fresh - next stop is the bathroom Reno.
Question should we match the vanity in basic white with a different quartz top or go with a totally different look. Attached is a picture of the kitchen cabinets.

Really like your kitchen cabinets. Go with the same style in the bathroom!

Same is an easy choice. Similar but different is fine also. What you want to avoid is having the rooms look like they are from two totally different houses.

The bathroom is it's own unique space. While you could certainly stick with the same white cabinets as the kitchen, by no means should you feel obligated to do so. It would not be at all unusual to go with a completely different look.
