Hi all,We need a solution for our kitchen. Existing kitchen has a island cook top but there is no range hood or exhaust system in our kitchen. We usually cook very oily, deep fried food. During summer we cook outside on a portable stove but during winter cooking outside is impossible as we live in MN. We have 2 wall in the kitchen. One is covering the stair goes down to our basement and another wall is the wall which divides our kitchen from formal dining room. Formal dining room wall ends at the 2/3 rd junction of the wall and rest of the kitchen wall is exposed to outside. We are thinking of reposition our cooking arrangement so that we can install a duct for the range hood to take the smoke outside. What would be the best solution for the duct and cooktop positioning with minimal remodelling. Also we are thinking of buying double oven range. Need help? Kitchen picture is in the comment section.
