I am an amateur with no patience and live on a small farm so my stuff takes a beating. About 8 years ago I got into furniture painting and used homemade chalk paint to do a bunch of pieces in my house. It’s held up really well and now I am ready to do some more. I recently bought Home Decor chalk paint in sage and it is not a good color - too much blue. But the coverage was great. I love the General Finishes glazed pieces on Pinterest, especially the black glaze. Anyone hooked on a brand of chalk paint or other product for furniture painting? There are so many options now!! Also, I don’t wax, I glaze or poly for the final coat.
