Acetone spill on acrylic tub

I have a new Jason Excel drop in tub. There was a small acetone spill on the top ledge and there is now a dull area. I've been unable to reach the company so far and am wondering in the meantime if there is anything I can do that will bring back the shine or if this is something I will just have to live with. I saw a recommendation for mild dish soap and warm water but that did nothing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You could try gel gloss

I would check with the manufacturer, also. However, years ago I had a pair of very nice black pumps and spilled a few drops of acetone nail polish remover on one of them resulting in a dull spot. I bought some non-acetone nail polish remover and applied it to the spot and it was gone. I don't remember where I found out about that tip.

Several manufacturers recommend auto wax/polish. Don’t know about yours.

Gel gloss is basically a light auto wax without making it slippery.

Thanks to all that offered various solutions. I finally spoke to manufacturer who had NO recommendations for the issue. I tried the car wax idea and it improved the appearance by about 90% so I was very happy with that. I may apply another coat to see if that will help even more.
