ShipLap Color Color or Naw color!

We are currently building a reading nook for our home. I need help and advice on a color of shiplap. In the picture below for our inspiration the shiplap is white, however I want a pop of color. My kitchen and every major cabinet is white in my home, so I thought it would be nice to incorporate some color by changing the shiplap. Also my shiplap boards are 10inch wide and I want a very smooth finish. My thoughts are the 10inch smooth boards will modernize the shiplap look. Since my home is on the modern side with a bit of some old charm. I am leaning toward the color blue!!...I just need help choosing which tone/color of blue.

This is our inspiration...

This is what we have accomplished so far....

These are the colors I have been attracted to but go back and forth constantly.

Top color is Westcott Navy BM, Middle color is Blue Note BM, and bottom color is Hale Navy BM.....

This next color I just found recently and I might be leaning towards it, seems like a perfect blue grey color. I feel like a dark blue grey color might feel more neutral and give me more options to incorporate different colors and dimensions down the line. (picture does not do it justice)

Color Cyberspace SW

Some extra photos below of colors and textures in my home....

Quartz behind Hood Range (kitchen)

Shelves (kitchen) same shelves will be in my built in nook

Light will go in Built in nook

Couch color and texture

PLEASE help! very indecisive!!!

I would need to see the rest of your spaces to suggest color.

I like the choices you've shown. I agree with Patricia, pics of your other spaces would help.

My Main Living Room area and Kitchen are in the same area along with the Nook we are building. Everything is still being worked on including our Kitchen. All furniture pictured is my style but many pieces are changing (except my Sofa and Kitchen table and Chairs)...

Here are a few pictures (colors of certain pieces are not coming through as real life, couch appears purple? and other pieces look blue? everything is actually some type of gray tone)...

The Kitchen is not finished. We are doing Subway all the way up, Putting in a Black Hood Range, Quartz Cutout Piece under Range Hood and I still need Hardware...

Shiplap is OK as regards a practical, durable material for a nook, but it should maybe be the wall or probably trim colour, (you are going to have to use trim paint anyways I’m guessing) then make the cushion dark. Is it a bed?

I like the blues with your overall scheme, though as Green Designs mentioned, I would bring some color elsewhere as well. The only one I don't care for is the Hale Navy -- seems too dark. But really any of them would work.

A charcoal paint works for me with the fabric, the quartz, and the glass of your appliances.

Many pieces I have may appear a different color than they really are in person. Everything I own is not all in the brown/beige/tan family. I actually have many things in the grey tone along with white, only my walls are beige. My floors are getting changed to a grey wood look ( I forgot to mention that) The only brown I have is the wood shelves and fireplace mantle (kitchen table has a grey tone). Once the floors are gone that element of "brown" will be gone. I will picture some examples of what I want to incorporate below.

    Floors...

A leather chair I want to eventually replace with the chair I have.....

Some type of small wood coffee table with some small round ottomans (at different heights)...

Large plexiglass frames to replace large gold shelve against wall..

Not certain on area rugs or curtains and many other little extras. My home is still a work in progress and I am enjoying the process. Any tips, advice or kind words are appreciated.

Plexi glass seems very modern, shiplap is more farmhouse. Not sure about mixing those two. I have hale navy it’s very dark, on your space I would go lighter, either of the other two, you will need to bring in more color in the rest of the space. Any progress to share?
