one of the best winter conifers

not a good picture because I just took it at night using porch light and long exposure - branches were blowing hence the blurriness - but Juniperus rigida pendula always look very elegant when snow covered. I believe at the time I called Woodlanders and they said they were growing this form by cuttings.

    More than one form grown under the cultivar name, which needs to be replaced because it is Latin yet post 1959.

    Edit: and I wasn't being sarcastic. It's a beautiful tree and I've always liked an evergreen with snow on it and a snowy back ground in the bright sun. :-)
