Currently...on the wagon

I bought a meyers 18 months ago from Logees, and while healthy, it's far too small to want to order there again. I only ordered it because I wanted some other tropicals. Next citrus (if any) will be more sizable.

The trees from Logees are small, but they grow. I have several trees from them that have grown quite a lot. It is only like $12 I think. I have a BH and a variegated one too. Neither has produced fruit yet. Yes Pranab...I am an enabler lol!

$13 plus $10 shipping....tempting though I really have enough. But socal's comment about using the rind in cooking has me considering it. I have some small Logee's plants and while I don't love the size the come in, it is still tempting. Presumably this is a rooted cutting. Are BH ok on their own roots?

Lucky, I suspect they are. I have a rooted cutting and it is growing just fine.

I once found myself in a blackout in November and was eager to make some roasted lemon chicken. I had no lemons in the house but did have a Citron ('Buddha's Hand' is essentially a Citron. Well, in the dark, I managed to scrape the rind and make the best 'lemon' chicken ever. Very aromatic!

Mine came today, after a delay in shipping due to weather. I’m actually pleasantly surprised by the size of it, for a 2.5 inch pot this is a nice sized little tree. Has some huge winter leaves but looks very happy and healthy.

Lucky, I'm glad you liked it. The leaves look like that on mine also. I have not found mine to be a fast grower, but I think mine is grafted, which could slow down the growth. Enjoy!

I have a grafted BH and did have 2 rooted cuttings from the mother plant. I lost one of the cuttings that had grown to about 4 ft at 26F that accidently got left out. So definitely tender.
