With the cabinets so tall, a better balance would have been achieved by taking the blinds all the way to the ceiling.

We choose to balance the design by taking the backsplash tile to the ceiling around the window. The window blinds are functional, but definitely not the focal point of this space. There are more images of the project in the link provided if you need a closer look. Thanks for your input.
