I did e-mail after I recieved your card and I am not sure if your e-mail is the same. I am not sure of how many here miss your beautiful trees, words of wisdom, your wonderful experiences and the awesome pictures you always shared but I'll bet a few do.

Please come back if you can and know that a few of us miss you.

I remember pictures of your greenhouse lit up in the winter months, all those variety of plants, orchids, and citrus
and how beautiful, and that we had so much in common. You are and were a blessing here and not one to loose now.

If you are having health issues or something other, please e-mail me if you cam

Thank you for your thoughtfulness during Christmas. It came right at the right time my friend.

Hey, Mike, I've been thinking of you, buddy! We have had record snow here in the West, and it has been great. I will text you some pics of my adventures.

Yes, record snow, 16 inches deep here. But some of my cold hardy citrus outside appear to have survived. They were completely buried in snow.

Josh, are you serious? I heard Hawaii got some but it never occurded to me that you did. Let me see.I find that hard to believe. When was the last time you had snow buddy? Thanks my Josh!!

Socal, are you kidding me? Just how unusual is that? I see the trouth is way the heck down over the very western U.S which never happens. Any pics?

Mike, I got a card from Cory at Christmas and she said she’d had some troubles, but was better. Hopefully she’ll chime in here to update us!

Olympia, WA here. So yeah, that is pretty far North in latitude, but this is more snow than this area has gotten in a decade.

Last year we had a very mild Winter and it didn't go below freezing the whole month of December. The Musa basjoo hardy bananas still held onto their fronds last year, even though they looked pretty wilty. This year they all died to the ground (though they'll come back).

Socal, I love those musa banana trees. I once had one that grew 10 feet tall. It was so big I couldn't dig it out so had to let it die. I was hoping for bananas.lol Wow, that's weird for your area.

Laura, I did too. I got a card and was so happy I did. Was actually quite touched by her thoughtfullness and now I wonder if she is ok...

    Gahhh, my posts keep disappearing...!

Cory emailed me today and she is fine, but she is having trouble posting. She says the posts disappear. She said her trees are fine but that she had to hack them back to be able to bring them in for winter. However, she is happy to be pest-free thus far. Hopefully she will be able to chime in soon.

Laura, that is great news and I thank you so much. I am going to try another e-mail I just found today. That could be it. I can't wait until she finds her way back. I really appreciate that Laura.)))

Yes, my posts have been disappearing, too.

I had long posts written out to accompany my images, and even the images had to submitted multiple times. I nearly gave up entirely.

Josh, what's going on? I don't get it. I hope it was all corrected. It's funny, I no longer receive e-mail alerts of anyone posting to a thread I was a part of. I asked for help days ago and they still have not gotten back to me. They could care less about the problems here it seems.

I don't know, Mike. When I press 'submit,' my post just disappears.

    Very frustrating!

One work around for disappearing posts that seems to work is write your text first (at least partially) and post it. Then edit it and insert pictures. I only use my browser on my computer. If you are using the app or mobile version it may not work the same way.

Yeah, Tropic, that's a decent workaround. This time, however, it isn't working. Usually the text first is the best route; but in this case, I had better luck posting the pic (on the third or fourth attempt), then adding text. I only post from my computer.

If your post disappears then hit the reload button in your browser and you will get it back to try again.

Steve I will keep your trick in mind next time. Josh you are in big trouble :)) I have seen trouble with pics if the filesize is large (high resolution, large size, etc). If I reduce them first (it is a hassle, I know) to <2MB before posting it behaves a bit better.

Steve, trust me, I hit reload/refresh, and there was absolutely nothing there.
