They are kept indoors but in a moderately sunny location

The first one is it in a pot way too big and it looks very wet. Probably needs more light too. I would gently clip off the damaged leaves as I doubt they are able to help the plant survive.

The second one also needs more light. Most succulents do not like being double potted as it creates too much humidity around the plant. Most often recommended here is a fast draining potting soil of commercial cactus and succulent mix combined 50-50 with perlite.

Definitely needs more light..its reaching to the light.

Sorry, should have made it clear, I had to edit the images after I took them to increase contrast and decrease highlights, which is why it looks so dark. They're kept in a fairly sunny location, but indoors mind you...

It's the growth habit which is telling people they need more light rather than the light visible in the photographs. We're seeing signs of etiolation.
