I have super white on my island which is a deep brown cabinet (matching the hardwood floors in the kitchen).

My perimeter cabinets are Chantilly Lace by Ben Moore.

What colour counters should I do on the perimeter and what should we do on the backsplash? (I am thinking super white might be too gray).

Also, the main focal point is the wall with an over sized hood and no upper cabinetry. The hood will be flanked by simple wall sconces.

The look we are going for is transitional elegance.
