OT - test picture of Rosette Delizy - have not been able to post pics

Just trying to see if I can post pictures - for over a week, every time I try to, it just disappears. Here is a pic (I hope) of RD from last Spring:

Tried again - did not work the second time, either. Grrrr...

    Darn it Houzz! So frustrating.

Are you posting from a desktop or mobile? I only use my phone and have not had problems posting. However, I can only post 4 pics at a time. And others have said that if they type a lot of info and then post pics in the same comment it does not work. It is very frustrating and a lot of the people have left the forum because of these issues; which sucks because it really limits all the great photos and opinions here.

Hi there, Can you please shoot us a message through help.houzz.com with some information on how you are posting (desktop vs. mobile, device, browser, etc) and we can troubleshoot the issue you are having?

After having the same problem -- I'm now at a point where MOST photos (but not all!) post ... but I have to wait a while before submitting the message.

I have been having issues posting pics from my phone. I almost always use my phone the last year or more. Nothing has changed on my phone. It might let me upload one or 2 photos at the most. Any more, then the screen blanks out after I hit submit. It never comes back and I have to either go back or close the window and re-enter. Also, once I post photos on a thread. It doesn't let me upload anymore in a different post. When I upload and submit, the screen goes blank. Never had that happen before lol. This has been going on 4 days at least. I tried posting multiple pics from my phone on other websites, no problems at all.

Happening here on MacBookPro with no changes on my end.

Emily - thank you for responding! I clicked on the link you posted, but found no way at all to communicate, just FAQs, and help for folks who have ordered products. I am using the same MacBookPro I have been using to post pics on here for years & years. Never had a problem before. I click on "Houzz Photo", and then drag my photo from my desktop per the instructions. When I click on submit, the photo (and the message) just disappear. This does not happen if I just post a message without a photo.

If there is some way to communicate with the web site help folks, other than re an issue about a product I ordered, please let me know what the exact series of clicks should be to find it - I used to be able to find it easily, but they have changed everything around again. Thanks so much for your help -

    DON'T CLICK ON HOUZZ PHOTO!!!
    Just click on "Photo."

The image will come up translucent -- greyed-out. But if you wait several minutes, it will normalize, and THEN you can Submit.

Just as Jeri said, it does take a few min. It looks like its uploaded, but if you hit submit, nothing happens. But if you wait longer, it finally uploads, and the image looks darker, and then it goes through.

Jin, what is the lovely yellow rose?

    @ Sheila,
It is Bermuda Anna Olivia. My President of rose society gave it to me with green rose and eucalyptus. The colour just cheer me up totally. Never knew colours has an effect on moods. Now, I have to get it . eucalyptus also has an effect too in a good way

Thank you, Jin. I have this rose as "Etoile de Lyon" and I can't wait to see it this spring.

Ha! It worked! I still clicked on Houzz Photo, and then dragged a pic from my desktop. The only thing I did differently from before was to wait a bit. The image never looked washed out. Anyway, for whatever reason this works now - no idea why. Thanks all for your help and moral support.

Jackie how many roses are there ? I meant is it one bush, 2 or 3 ?? I am curious but I will be shocked if you said one.

This pic is on one bush of Rosette Delizy. On the very far far left of the pic, there may be a very few blooms (like 2-3) of Duchesse de Brabant showing.

Jeri - I planted the Rosette Delizy, I think 10-15 years ago.

Jackie -- you could have told me it was a century old, and I'd have believed you.

If I never prune teas, which I hardly ever do unless they are trying to eat passing cars or people, in our climate they all seem to get huge & happy, which is why, along with china roses, they are my very favorite kind of rose.
