Would the round knob on the other side of the hand held holder allow you to pivot the holder?

Here it is after I unscrewed it and flipped it so the holder was on the other side, then I rotated it so that the "up/down" lever faces forward. In this position, I can pivot the angle of the showerhead downward so it no longer shoots straight across the shower. But I don't like it with the lever sticking out. I'll keep it this way until I find a new sliding holder. It's a little thing, but it bugs me.

This bar is 1-1/4" diameter, so I'm looking for a sliding holder that will work with it and that I can buy al la carte.

I tried that and that knob just loosens the whole thing so that you can remove it or flip it the other way. I was googling like crazy and saw a product that might work, but there no spec that shows what diameter it fits.

If you click on the link for the Delta mount, there is a grey box that says Q &A . Other people have asked similar questions and Delta's answer is that the tilt is adjustable.

The tilt is adjustable if you install it correctly like in your second picture. The installation instructions show it that way.

The Home Depot website show the specs for the Speakman shower bar model VS-153-ada. It says the diameter of the bar is 1.25”. If your shower bar is 1.25” the holder should work.
