Perfectly fine to mix and match, but I think it looks better if the color is repeated in some other element.

In this photo the brass/bronze is in the cabinet hardware, hood, bezel on the range and pendants. The chrome or satin nickel faucets ties into the stainless of the range.

In my experience, chrome is timeless and brass comes and goes. I personally find brass too intrusive, especially when one has a lot of pulls. See if you can get the chrome version of the Emtek Alexander pulls to speak to you ;-)

Of course you can mix them.

But then I have brushed nickel faucets with polished brass Armac Martin cup pulls and towel bars. And dark bronze that reads black on milk glass pendants. I don't get agitated about matching finishes, preferring a collected-over-time look, but the brushed nickel certainly ties in with the stainless appliances. My cabinets are Ikea Edserum.

I fell in love with the same pulls about 20 years ago and had them in our previous kitchen too, with a chrome faucet, and it all looked great. The cabinets there are cream painted wood.
