I’m not seeing how the second rug fits into your color scheme, so of the two, I vote for the first one,

I vote for the second because you seems to have mostly beiges and browns, and even the teal is a cool color, so you need lighter warm colors to balance everything out. I see too many one-dimensional rooms here that have just various cool colors (or non-colors like brown) and there is no complexity there which gives a room warmth and nuance. It's a very common mistake but with a little thought it very easy to rectify.
