Bathroom Vanity Furniture Style

I have a vanity nook area which is 83" wide wall to wall. I'm having a difficult time finding something that I like to fit this area. I know I can order custom cabinets to fit this area but I do like something more original and/or unique. If I choose a vanity that is 70-72" it will leave approximately 5-6" on each side. I can't find a lot of pictures with this style and wondered if I should try to go wall to wall in this area. Any input is appreciated.

I'm confused. Most custom cabinet builders can build anything to suit. They often build actual custom furniture too.

girl-wonder, yes a cabinet company can build into this area, but I wanted something different and most vanities are not 83". Some 84", 72". If I find one I like that's shorter than my 83", I wonder if it will look okay.

Think I went to every bath design store in the Chicago area looking for vanity that did not look like a kitchen cabinet. Ended up getting a Home Decorators Collection vanity from here. Am happy with the quality. Good luck.

Have several inches on each side of the vanity and wall, and like the way it looks.

I searched houzz 'stories' cause I'm learning too. For 2 sinks:

"60-inch-wide counter minimum. With a standard bathroom sink width, this will give each person their own 3 - 5 inches on each side of the sink. 72-inch counters would provide a much more spacious feel."

Width (side to side): 19 to 24 inches

Length (front to back): 16 to 23 inches

Depth: 5 to 9 inches.

Circular bathroom sinks typically range from 15 to 20 inches in diameter.
