I am also doing my kitchen with silestone statuario and white subway tiles, white cabinets, and gray/blue island as well! Eternal Jasmine seemed a bit murky and grayish to me and I wanted a more crisp white look so I decided on Statuario. I do not have photos yet because I am waiting to have it installed. Have you seen the actual slabs? I saw them at the Silestone showroom as well as at my fabricator's shop. I like that it's mostly white with very subtle veins running through. I've also done stain testing (red wine, frozen berries, hot oil, chili oil, tomato sauce, even a hot heavy pot!) and Statuario passed without problems. Have you chosen your cabinet color yet? Tristan Green: I had silestone statuario installed. Negative: Looks a bit cheap because it looks like a plain white slab with no visual interest because the veins are too subtle. while I like the clean look of it, I wish I had chosen something with a little more depth and movement. silestone pearl jasmine might have been a better option. let me see if I can post photos. It’s really hard to see the vein details of the stone.
