I would not use Briwax myself, its more of a "restoration" wax and has Toluene in it which is kind of nasty. It can be very hard to apply correctly and buff off without streaking. Works great on 100 year old furniture to brighten up, but for new wood I'd use a simple clear paste wax such as Minwax. Easy to apply and buff off.

It actually is for salvaged wood from early 1900s..
