Delta all the way; no need for a cartridge puller (trust me, they are a PITA) and Delta's customer service cannot be beat.

In my experience Delta has provided great customer service.

I don't recommend Newport Brass or California Faucet ... except for one Cal Faucet product I'll link below.

We just bought a Speakman Icon (S-2252) shower head, which is solid brass. Feels like high quality.

Speakman shower. Moen or Delta faucet at vanity. Both have excellent service. Buy both from a good plumbing supply. Local.

Thanks! I was set to buy the Speakman, but we are in drought land Calif., where the max flow rate for shower heads is now, gulp, 1.8 gpm. (And 1.2 gpm for bathroom faucets.)

Oh wait...now I see Speakman has a 1.75 gpm shower head! Anyone care to weigh in on the reviews that complain about how loud this shower head is? Quieter would be nice, as DH and I have a 3-hour difference in our wake-up times!

When I chose my Moen PosiTemp for the tub/shower I didn't realize how much I'd come to hate it. I plan on having it replaced this year. Looking forward to being able to change the stream and temperature independently again.

We have Grohe and Delta in current house. We had them in our previous house as well and we were happy with them. We had to contact Grohe for the shower which was dripping after about 10 years. Customer service was great. They just asked for a receipt which we still had and they sent a new part. We had to contact Delta for the kitchen sink sprayer and their customer service was great as well.

The flow restrainer can be removed to increase flow. I have a Moen and that’s what we did.

Stayed in hotel yesterday (Hilton Tru) that had this showerhead, strongly agree with the name "high pressure." May be the highest pressure I ever experienced.

No, it was great, rinsed the shampoo out of my hair so quickly (and I used a lot of shampoo - to empty my travel bottle). The spray patterns were also distinctly different.

Am thinking of getting one for home.

Ah, I now see it's a 2.5 GPM. Won't do for our drought-plagued state, alas.

you can buy the Speakman Neo Anystream in a 1.75 gpm. it's a great shower. You'll never think it's only 1.75 gpm.
