Having the seating area right up against the door makes it feel crowded. I would start with installing curtains or lattice panels between the column and the corner of the house on the right as you walk out the door. I would then place a bench against that ‘wall’. One of the blue chairs goes in the far left corner turned to face the bench. The existing ceramic stools are your cocktail tables/ extra seating. Get rid of the glass table in lieu of a storage ottoman in front of the bench. This is where you can store pillows, lanterns, etc.

Plant some small trees against the fence for shade, Natchez white crepe myrtles can be planted almost right against the fence and would give you summer shade in two years.

I think with the proper placement & elimination of a few pieces ( maybe), it could be more attractive & functional. Reposition the Adirondack chairs, I think you could even fit a small loveseat on there , Bistro chairs for the glass table ( or a new Bistro set with two chairs.) the stools could be used as side tables. Plot out an arrangement on paper, or tape out on the patio.

Why is an outdoor storage bench so hard to find? At least a 2-seater. Happy to add the cushion. Looking for something local, as well

Very small space to work with. Perhaps expand it to include patio seating and just have flowers around perimeter? At least no mowing?
