Bathroom sinks/faucets - aesthetic and functional questions

In looking at sinks/faucets for the bathroom redo, I've gotten contradictory comments about sink shapes from sales people. I'd like to hear from people with no $$ in the game!

I'm posting pics of the 2 undermount sink shapes we're looking at and also the 2 faucet types.

First question is about splashing, I'm getting 2 different (well 3, if you count turning on water slowly) versions of whether or not flat bottomed sinks will splash (assuming water does NOT directly hit drain). Experience with that? Both faucets are "low" profile, one more so than other.

The other question is about visual appeal. I like the square bottomed better in that regard, but if splashing is a problem, will have to move on. Any comments about preferences? Or other options?

The faucets? Sigh. There's a complication there, but I'll leave that out for now and just see what people think about the options from a visual.

The bathroom is a long, narrow model, there is about 8 feet of vanity top (from door to pony wall), with the double sinks located on the last 5 feet. That 3 feet by the door gets you out of door range. The vanity top will be redone in cashmere Pental Quartz which we used in the laundry room with the same type of oak vanity, it's a nice match. We'll probably put a mitered edge on it here because of the long expanse (to the eye) and the pony wall will also have it added to the top (vs. wood there now). Anyway, here's the sinks, faucets, bathroom shot. Thanks a lot for any experiences and opinions!
