Too much nitrogen for my lemon cucumbers?

June 6, 2019

My lemon cucumber plants are healthy, vibrant-looking with lots of flowers. They've been this way for 2-3 weeks without making fruit. I prepared the soil with commercial Miracle-Grow type soil with some mushroom compost. We have had 100+ temperatures for about a week, so I've been watering heavily. I have 2 plants next to an Armenian cucumber. The Armenian produced 3-4 cucumbers, but stopped when the temperatures go so hot. The cucumber plants are about 3-4 feet tall. Could I have added too much nitrogen which has interfered with the plant making fruit? Do I just need to be patient and wait to see what they do? They do get at least 6 or more hours of sun daily. None of the leaves are burnt and, again, the plant looks really healthy???
