Which height to hang these bedside wall lamps?

In this case the height of the lights should relate to the pillow height (or in effect the head of the person sitting and reading in bed) as opposed to the table. If you feel it looks awkward you could put a mini piece of art below the light to bridge the gap and run the cord behind it.

The light with shelf is nice but might look like too much with your table.

Is there going to be a cord with a roll switch or is the switch on the base of the light? (I assume not hard wired) Ideally the person in bed can easily reach over to turn on and off. That said, I like the higher position but it would be easier to tell from further back and a larger view.

There will be a cord with a switch. I think the higher position is better for reading but wondered if it was too far above the little table.

A good place to start would be to sit up in bed and extend your arm out, up, and back to the wall. Where your fist is would be one good place to mount it providing the lamp arm is long enough. Another thing to look at is centering it on the night stand. Another option is just outside the bed posts and a bit higher. It is more convenient if you can reach it comfortably from a reading position without having to turn around.

The bed is the biggest piece of furniture in the space, so you need to decide on it first. Once you see how much room it takes up with headboard, etc, you can pick nightstands that will fit. You might even decide to use a pair of accent tables with drawers in place of nightstands, as they are often more interesting and smaller scale. Nice bath and closet! Lucky you!

Oh yes we sure did get the Kringle! Put in in the freezer so entire family can enjoy it when they are all in Dallas for Christmas:) what a wonderful surprise..Linda you are so sweet...love your Christmas card...what a big beautiful family!! Also I was thinking I could do these instead. They have a little shelf with a usb outlet built in.

DLM. Perfect solution. I as worried about the void but some fun art piece is a great idea. I have a selection of plates or toleware platters that could work.

Got the first one hung. Will do the second one after the weekend guests vacate the space.
