Moneywort, or something else?

They yellow one. Moneywort, creeping Jenny has crept. Suspected Lysimachia nummularia L.

DW likes it. I was always suspicious.

    Looks like Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' - golden creeping Jenny.

    Thanks gardengal4, I think you're right. A nice color, but not a nice habit. I think it is troubling a hydrangea nearby too.

    I have never encountered any negative issues growing this plant. Compared to many other types of groundcovers, it is extremely easy to control. Few groundcovers are plant and forget......... :-)

    I can't see Creeping Jenny bothering a Hydrangea.

    Very negative memories of a three inch dropped cutting of moneywort here in Southern California. I managed to barely keep the rampant creature down to a 7' x 10' sized patch using frequent and aggressive control measures. Eventually we moved; the new owners have that problem now.
