Would you share pictures of the rest of the room?

For me,the only time a too small rug looks great done like that,is when the rug is basically a work of art. Or gives off a wry yet functional vibe. (like a striped rag rug on ONE side in a beach hut) Two shags do neither.

If you do go this route,make sure to put the proper padding under the rugs.

You have created a pretty room. Nothing except cold feet says you have to do any rug at bedsides at all.

I can't get anymore of the room that that except for Pano which distorts. I really love the wood floor. There is also an armoire 32" from the end of the bed. I am unable to attach the pano don't know why.

It looks small to me, too. I would think an 8x10 rug would look very nice in your room with a queen bed.

Maybe if you got a larger natural rug that goes under the bed but not under the night stands and then layered a smaller rug at the bed side.
