Good point, thank you JudyG Designs. My apologies. It's not your typical buffet, but rather a glass front cabinet that is 48" tall and 48" wide. It's a lovely antique piece. What height would you recommend in that case? The cabinet sits right next to the dining table. Thank you.

You’ll have to play with lamps. Sitting at the table you don’t want to see the socket, harp or bulb. The lamp is for ambiance.
