Get samples from your local brick stainer and post for us to see and compare with your home. I like your current brick with the roof, and there are cheaper things you could do; really big house numbers left of the front door, larger lantern lights, darker eaves, soffets and garage doors, a pop of color on the front door. Some of the landscaping near the house looks to be quite overgrown and is hiding the features of your home. Have a professional service come and get them into more manageable and less obtrusive shape.

I cant tell what color the roof is. I would not replace a roof until it is well worn.

Is the house brick all around? If not, what color is the siding?

I think the house would look good in a not too bright white.
