We may have to be gone for 6-7 days in the coming weeks. I usually scrub and change my feeders every 3-4 days. In the heat of summer I don’t want to leave nectar out for close to a week. So what is my best option, 1. Take feeders down while gone. 2. Fill feeders but a small amount that will run out in a few days and refill when we get back.

Either way I feel awful as I feel like I’m ghosting my hummers!
