Epoxy grout question

Our new shower has epoxy grout. I noticed they used epoxy grout up where the tile meets the ceiling (plane change) instead of silicone caulk. (They did caulk the corner joints though). The epoxy grout looks great up there, so if it’s just as good as caulk in that area, then I’m ok with that. But is there risk of leaking or joint movement issues up where the tile meets the ceiling if it’s epoxy grout there instead of silicone caulk?

Yes, it will crack not a matter of if, only when.
