whole house paint color and bedroom paint color

So over the 101 versions on grey please help.

House being built, about 2000 sq feet, 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Not a whole lot of natural light but each room as a window and LED lighting. Concerned about cold stark feel with flooring and granite colors already chosen. Kitchen cabinets are white with subway marble back splash and all fixtures in house are matte black and appliances are silver stainless steel.

Paint color has to be SW brand. Looking for 1 color for house and 1 color for bedrooms

The grey vinyl plank floors run through whole house except mater bathroom which has marble tile.

The granite is Silver Pearl and is in the kitchen and bathroom counter tops. Thank you for any advice on how to tie this together with paint color

Do I understand, you are over gray yet everything you’ve chosen is gray?

i was actually looking at maybe just going with a white throughout the house and i can then add warmth and color through decor and doing the rooms gray?

White...a much better choice...gray has been over used for too long...it also offers more design flexibility ...allowing more style options in decor as well

That is what I was thinking Ritasj with the white. I go back in forth though because y history of paint colors has always been reds, blues and browns so even though gray trend is getting old it is totally a new world for me and I am trying not to afraid of trying the unknown, lol

Getting on a “trend” train late ...is always a mistake...because it makes your home look dated too soon...if you feel strongly ..use gray in the bedrooms...sticking to paler more neutral grays....as to trying the unknown...the danger is in overdoing it....with a white palette you can get more courageous in decor colors...accent walls?...by the way...finding the right white is just as challenging..but maybe worth it if you don’t have an abundance of natural light

since your floors are a little warmer, try a warm toned gray. This is BM Pale Oak (and White Dove) , but i'm sure SW has a match

jennifer, i really see the gray at night in it and i love that light gray. it might work being we don't have a lot of natural light

You’ll have to see what works with your preferences and your house. We went through a lot of white and gray samples and ended up with Sw passive for the house (which I looove) and Zurich in the kitchen only (because I wanted more warmth on the kitchen walls.) Well, ended up loving Zurich so much that now I’m repainting all my house in Zurich.. in our space it looks really velvet-y and not too bright nor to dull.. one bedroom will be Sw white flour (lighter white) is all and another is already sw light French gray. Best of luck with your project. Let us know what you end up with!

Ok. so the sw passive didn't give off green undertones? I was looking at that one but someone who used it said it did same with the french gray. I am so glad you guys have colors you love. could i get you opinion on both the Passive and French gray with this flooring and counter tops?

Can’t speak for how it’ll look in your space but passive looks more gray with the tiniest of blue in it in our space. Light French gray is looking a little more neutral maybe, but more mauve/purple in some lights. Very very subtle though.
