It is an Echeveria of some type:). Could be an Echeveria agavoides.

Should be easy to take care for as long as you give a fast draining mix and adequate light.

Whenever you repot don‘t put in a huge pot and the pot should have drainage holes. Whenever I repot a succulent I go up one pot size. Too big of a pot means too much soil which will hold onto moisture for longer. Only water when mix is dry throughout the pot.

This guy will need decent sun to stay compact. Start with morning sun afternoon shade and go from there. Are you keeping it inside?

If it is sitting close to the glass and gets a lot of direct sun, could be too hot so move it back if this is the case. But it will need a good amount of bright light. Looks like it has been watered overhead which isn't good for succulents, so please water the soil, not on top of his head!

Since you‘re growing inside watch for etiolation. Echeveria start showing signs of etiolation fairly quickly. Just pay attention to things like the leaves flattening out, the color lightening up , and or it begins to stretch. If the lack of light goes on for too long your plant won’t revert back to it’s old look. I‘m not trying to freak you out;). If you pay attention to your plant then you can catch it early. One of the main issues I see on this forum is etiolation problems. So I’m just letting you know what to look for. Google etiolated Echeveria there are tons of pics;).

Lastly, being inside this guy won’t need too much h2O because plants dry out slower inside. Maybe a good watering every 10 days or so during the hot months. Goodluck;).
