Triple Gable - rain drainage / leak potential

How are you routing the runoff from the gables? Aren't the valleys between gables likely to collect debris? I've got a similar roofline with the outside gables but a flat (slightly sloped) roof inbetween with skylights and looking for a longer term solution for leaks so this design intrigues me.

Typically you would find roof "saddles" in between the roof slopes that die into each other. This would direct the water out to the perimeter of the roof overhang and to the nearest gutter. Additionally, installing an ice and water shield under the shingles in these problem areas is always a good idea.

The highest peak is 16'-5" from floor level. The grade varies around the house.

Thank you. The stone on the risers and treads is New York Bluestone, same as patio.
