how is marble as a vanity top in terms of maintenance? love the smooth look, but concerned about water stains, with everyday use. thanks in advance...

Marble can etch and stain. You must seal with a penetrating sealer (high quality) to help protect it. If you are not okay with the patina developing with a natural product, then I would recommend looking at a quartz material.

duterrier I am too using a quartz for our bathroom. We are using Ceaserstone Dreamy Marfil for this look.
