Nice use of no uppers. What is the backsplash? Is there one?

Ok thanks - it does seem the cooktop is close to the wall. Did you use a specific paint that cleans up easily from splatters?

I would think so. I don't see someone building a house this beautiful only to skimp on decent paint. lol. Benjamin Moore makes a line of paint that cleans up easily but doesn't have to be a shiny sheen if that's what you needed to know. I think it's their Aura line.
