Yeah I’m beginning to think I made a mistake on the bed. And it is quite old school. I don’t know what I was thinking. It just looked really nice, but not really my type.

If the bed cannot be returned, reupholster it. Wood and mirrored furniture CAN go together, but

leather and mirrors only go good in gentlemens' clubs. lol

Paint it light, to try to modernize it, but truthfully you'd just be applying lipstick on an old girl..

Chances are, you'll spend more money trying to make it look good..

I'm voting "No" on the new option too. All that tufting is making it look old. Maybe get a tall tufted headboard with wings if you are adding the mirriored side tables.

Take the advice....no to the bed!! There are a lot of elegant choices if you want a sleigh bed. Those ones are too chunky and heavy.....
