sofa colour for green marble floor in living room
Comments (1)What direction are you going with the room? My immediate reaction is to go with a light neutral, as it sounds like the floor is already a statement!...See MoreBlank slate living room - I'm lost!
Comments (2)I personally like the couches and think they will look great once you accessorize a little more but since you hate the color the Lindy Chinchilla seems like it will work fine, the concern would be later on down the road if you paint your walls grey you will end up where you are now with brown but with grey everything. Does the accent chair have to match down to the fabric or just the style? If you can do the accent chair in a fun print like the graphic cool-R or graphic deco-R prints it would stand out a little. Just in general...adding curtains will help, ceiling to floor blue ones (I can't tell what is on your mantle but it looks like something blue is there, I would choose a blue color similar to that for the curtains. I would do solid unless the chair has to be solid, then I would use the curtains as an opportunity to introduce a pattern. I like the lamps but I think a thicker, clear base for the lamps will look better than the tall thin ones. Extending the hardwood would help as well (this may be something down the road) and then for the fire place, I would extend the white moulding up to the ceiling creating a frame around the TV, I would have the TV wires installed behind the wall and then paint the inset of the now "frame" a darker brown color as a background for the TV....See MoreHelp! Comments (21)I wouldn't say I breed. Dabble a bit. In Gypsy horses. Love them. Smart, easygoing, a personality I can appreciate. :) nice horse you've got there! But 14.2 is about as tall as I like them - So Warmbloods aren't for me! :) As far as curtains go - I'm not sure if they would work especially on the fireplace wall where there is hardly any wall space between windows and fireplace or window and door etc. my husband was all about as many windows as possible when we built this house. Maybe on the pasture window side? Or maybe curtains on some windows and not all is a dumb idea? And I'm looking at the coffee table. It needs to be much bigger doesn't it? Maybe a shape other than rectangular? Hmmmm......See Moresome help on picking a green for my living room wall w/ grey sofa
Comments (4)Look at off whites. Off whites are the perfect canvas and match for any other color especially furniture. You have decorative free reign with whites. And especially if you have wood trim, they will only be highlighted by a pretty and fresh coat of creamy white. You could also buy any color in a white form. They have the slightest tint of color but it appears white. This is good if you don't care for white as a wall color....See MoreHU-222098058
