Renovated rose garden -RBG year two

When I posted this thread yesterday on the Perennials forum, I probably should have included this forum on the list. When RBG renovated the rose garden last year, it was heavily planted with companion perennials - hence my posting on the Perennials forum as the perennials interest me more than the roses :-) The original RBG (Royal Botanical Gardens on the border of the cities of Hamilton and Burlington in Ontario, Canada) rose garden was called The Centennial Rose Garden as it was opened in 1967, Canada's centennial year. In the past few decades it had declined badly; a major renewed/replacement garden was installed last year, so this is the second summer for the new garden. It's certainly vary large and vigorous at this point!
