Last blooms will finish this week or so I think

Life threw us a curve last week and my husband ended up having to have emergency surgery. This surgery was actually scheduled for this week but he got very sick last Monday and I was told by the surgeons office to take him to the emergency room.Good thing we did. He came home late last week and recuperating.

It was a chilly 45F this morning so by midday we have reached 65F. I decided to take a garden walk to get some outdoor time and found a couple of surprise blooms. Not the best openings but looks like these two daylilies are not giving up yet. Hopefully I can get some gardening time this week.

FILLED TO OVERFLOWING - still has a couple more blooms to go. Poor thing did not like the chilly start.

JELLYFISH JEALOUSY - after this, it looks like it has one more to go. Very faded color today.

I have several groupings of Gaillardia - Blanket Flowers in the gardens. They usually keep blooming till a hard frost hits.

Does anyone know what this "weed" is? I noticed it was growing in the Judy bed.

I'll catch up on the posts tonight. Looks like there are several I missed.
