Master Bath remodel-mixed subway tile?

We are planning to update our Master Bath using a large 6x18 white subway tile in brick pattern with a pale taupe grout on the shower and drop in tub walls. We chose this because it is less busy with our new vanity top and will be easier to clean. However, the two half walls (one that wraps from the shower to the top of the vanity will be a wet area and should be tiled) are to small to use a larger tile and will look like plain white walls with no interest. We are considering dropping the size on these two half walls to either a 4x10 or 3x6 white subway tile (from the same manufacturer) to allow more pieces in less space. To bring it together and provide some interest in the white shower and tub areas, we are considering that we could run the same SMALLER tile in brick pattern at eye level and border it both on top and bottom of the run with a pencil trim to set it off from the larger tile to be installed in the same area. As you can see from pictures, we still have some time to make this decision. Also, this is a beach condo with NO windows, so we would like to stay with white subway tiles to brighten the room. Would this mix be aesthetically confusing?
