Further to my previous post on what is blooming in the South Okanagan, here is a link from Vogue Magazine on "The Making of the Vogue Anniversary Rose". It is quite interesting and includes an interview with Brad Jalbert, including the cross that resulted in the Vogue Anniversary Rose.

Brad has bred some amazing roses. We will have what is going to be the largest collection and display of Jalbert bred roses in the world at the Summerland Ornamental Gardens in the new Canadian Heritage Rose Garden to be completed in the fall of 2020. Brad has some bred some incredible varieties, sSuch as another new Floribunda with deep pink blooms with a brown tint named Dragon Heart, see below:
