Has anyone used premade Ekena picture frame molding or wainscoting?
Ekena sells premade picture frame wainscoting or they also call them panel frames
on Amazon, Home Depot and various other sites. It would make installing this trim very easy for our dining room, and I am suffering from remodel fatigue. We would keep our current chair rail. The problem, is that I have to use their sizes which means each wall would have different widths of picture frame molding (unless I order each piece very narrow and use a lot of it). I wanted the wider squares. I don't know if I like the look of the smaller squares. Is it ok that each wall has different widths (same height everywhere)?
Just FYI - it will be painted white. New floors just put in and shoe trim has not been installed yet!
Similar to what I want only using the chair rail I already have.
