Gree vs Daikin heat pump

Hi, does anyone have experience in comparing these? Which one is more reliable?

    Not sure where you live, but, in my Carrier and Rheem are the two most popular brands.

    I wonder whether heat pumps are worth it given their lifespan. I read that they work for 10-15 years, whereas my furnace went strong for 20+ years. What is it about heat pumps that limits their life to 10-15 yrs?

    Well, the obvious reason is that they run winter and summer, rather than one or the other.

    in some cases, not much choice if you don't have nat gas service...for OP, another forum regular has been touting Bosch inverter heat pumps. You might check to see if there is a dealer in your area...
